Which property diagnostics are mandatory in Brussels?
In the Brussels-Capital Region, the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is mandatory for any property offered for sale or rental. An asbestos survey is required for the common areas of jointly-owned buildings and for buildings constructed before 2001 in certain contexts. A soil certificate is required upon the transfer of land.
